Preservation Help: Wedding Dresses

Writer's picture: The Historical SocietyThe Historical Society

The Historical and Genealogical Society of Indiana County is hosting a Bridal Exhibit and Reception on June 16, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. with the exhibit running through July 22. With an exhibit like this, oftentimes patrons ask us what they can do to preserve their items for future generations.

The bride and her family will never forget her special day, but what about future generations, well now you can use the same products trusted by museums to keep the memories of your wedding alive. This includes everything from photographs and invitations to flowers to the all-important dress.

Following this link we received from Gaylord Archival; as a service to you our readers, we want to pass it on incase any of you are interested in preserving your special day for future generations.
